Students learn far more effectively when they are safe, healthy and happy.
At Fitzroy Primary School we take our responsibility to support and encourage students so they can develop physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually very seriously. Our goal is for the students at Fitzroy Primary School to be happy, healthy, secure, resilient and enthusiastic learners. Developing the wellbeing of our students is central to our role and is reflected in our whole school Vision Statement.
A focus on the three Rights of all within our school supports Fitzroy Primary School creating the optimum learning environment. The Rights of all within our school are;
- Students and the teacher have the right to do as much work as possible
- Students and the teacher have the right to feel safe and comfortable in our school
- In the Fitzroy Primary School Community we help each other and we look after each other
At Fitzroy Primary School we have implemented the following student management and behaviour practices and protocols across the school to support the implementation of our rights:
Behaviour Consequence Chart

Behaviour management plans

School attendance strategies
