Students create visual art works that communicate, challenge and express their own ideas.
Our Visual Arts program nurtures creativity, imagination, and self-expression in every student. Students from Foundation to Year 6 explore a rich variety of artistic techniques, materials, and cultural perspectives.
Through engaging, hands-on experiences, students:
- Express ideas using visual elements like line, shape, colour, and texture
- Experiment with tools and materials to develop their artistic voice
- Create and present artworks with purpose and audience in mind
- Reflect and respond to their own and others’ art, including works by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists
Our program encourages students to think critically, take creative risks, and appreciate the diverse world of visual culture—all within a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
